Its been busy.
Sorry for the delay in getting a post up here. Since the last post we have placed our old house on the market, sold it and moved in to a new house. I should have pictures once I have my home internet access up and running. The kids are doing great with the change. Each one has their own room. We have more room for toys that we have stored around town.;) Watch for the new post here soon.
Thanks

Happy New Year!
I hope the New Year brings many joys to you and yours.
I know I know it been a few months or 5 months now since my last update. It has been a busy 5 months. Anyway here is the update.
Duncan has started 1st grade is reading writing and do math very well. He needs a little push every once in a while to do his home work but gets it done. Eric we kept out of pre-school until December because of the thought we might move. But since that didn’t happen he is now in school and enjoying it. Both boys have been taking martial arts classes and seem to be enjoying it. They just recently got their Orange belts which is the first step in a long road to a black belt. Duncan says he wants to get one but we’ll see. It’s a good way for the boys to learn other things like discipline and self control.
Lilliana is growing very fast and is a very strong willed little girl. I wonder where she gets that from. She is starting to talk, just single words right now but in the last month she has doubled the amount of words she says. I figure she’ll be talking easily by her second birthday.
Christmas was grand for everybody this year. Christmas day was spent at the Ewoldt’s with the Schmidt’s. Brian Schmidt was home on leave until the 4th, which was good for Valerie, Steven, Chris, and of course Brian too. The kids had a great time and got really cool toys. When you get older and the presents don’t matter any more and you see the joy on your kid’s faces it really tells that the holiday is more than just the gifts or the food. It’s the family and the smiles and the laughter.
Later in the week we went to Oshiro’s for Christmas. Karen’s bother Greg, wife Pat and step son Gil were up from Texas. We had a great dinner and the kids again had good fun with their new toys.
Overall everybody is doing well. We are very healthy bunch and with the mild weather should stay that way. I hope to get back on a monthly update but I have said that in the past. Until next time…

Its been a busy summer.
Sorry for the delay in getting a new post up. It’s been a busy summer for us. With trying to keep three kids in line, work and trying to get our house ready to sell, it’s been hard to keep this up to date.
This last Sunday was Eric’s fourth birthday. Its hard to believe he is 4 years old now. It won’t be long before he starts school like his older brother Duncan. Eric spent the summer with his brother playing in the back yard or on one of many trips that Karen planned for them all.
Duncan completed his first year of Kindergarten in June. He started a little rocky but once he got used to the idea he started to enjoy it. He also has been busy playing with Eric and Lilly. He showed them the finer points of getting into trouble. That’s what older brothers are for.
Lilly grew a lot this summer. She got an infection in the middle of July and was on antibiotics for almost 3 weeks. She started with a fever and on the third day it got high so Karen took her in. They did a couple of tests and determined she had a UTI (Urinary Track Infection). After three weeks of drugs we took her in for a couple of other tests to be sure that her kidneys were OK and that she didn’t have a urinary reflux from her bladder. She was not the happiest baby on that day. After all the screaming was done and no it wasn’t me, Lilliana is fine. She is back to her happy self unless its time to sleep. She wants to be part of everything and sleep just gets on the way of that.
As far as Karen and me, we’ve been trying to get the house ready to sell. We have installed new carpet and painted about every wall in the house. I had hopped to be done already but there are only 24 hours in a day.
I should have a new post once Duncan starts collage or maybe first grade. Until then enjoy this new set of pictures.

Lillana's First Birthday Party.
Well it’s been a month since my last entry. This time around I’m showing pictures from Lilliana’s first birthday party. It was fun time with just family. She didn’t know what to make of it all and of course she had a cold which seems to be the way the 2 boys have gone on their first birthday.
Lilly is starting walk and talk. She is slow on the walking side unlike her brothers who went from crawling to running. She on the other hand seems to be more vocal than they were. She is very good at throwing items on the floor and saying “Uh oh.”
She has me pretty much wrapped around her finger. I get home from work and she wants me to hold her and cuddle with her daddy. I don’t mind. The boys are “oh hi your home,” then they are off and running again. If I leave her for just a second she starts crying. I have started to build some resistance to her cries but I don’t think I’ll ever have a total resistance. It’s all good. Any way here are pictures from Lilly’s party. Enjoy.
